Leicester Cathedral

Leicester Cathedral ('Cathedral Church of St Martin, Leicester') is the largest cathedral in the United Kingdom (including St Paul's Cathedral in London, which is 17th). Founded in 1927 from the Church of St Martin [Wikipedia], Leicester Cathedral's size is awe-inspiring, bringing many a pilgrim to their knees. Sadly, much of the original size of Leicester Cathedral has been buried to deter tourists and pilgrims to help prevent the disintegration of the cathedral under the wear and tear of the masses who come to Leicester every day seeking just a glimpse of the magnificient building and its opulent surrounding gardens.
Leicester Cathedral is often used to stand in for buildings in films, the most recent example of this being in the Harry Potter films, and film stars can often be seen overcome by the glorious Victorian ceiling and ornate examples of stone masonry throughout the cathedral building.
Bishop Tim
Leicester Cathedral is also home to 'Bishop Tim', who, much like Fireman Sam, is awesome.

York 'Minster'
York Minster: scale: 7235987235:0.00000000001 metres.
York Minster ('The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York') is the smallest cathedral in the United Kingdom. So small is York Minster that it was demoted from the status of 'cathedral' to 'minster'. A Church of England spokesperson was unavailable was comment.
York Minster was originally built in 637AD [Wikipedia], a simple wooden shack created for a baptism. As is obvious today, not much has changed - the cathedral building remains a ramshackle construction in the centre of the city of York, ruining the otherwise pleasant surroundings. Locals have petitioned York Council for centuries to demolish the building, but the council claims its hands are tied over the issue.
Some 'Archbishop' Guy
York Minster doesn't even have a bishop...it has an archbishop. An archbishop is, obviously, an arch-enemy of a bishop; quite why the Church tolerates this is beyond us.
